back in melbourness

Got back from the holiday with the extended family late Saturday night.  Have not posted on the blog as I have been bedridden with an infection.  Third cold type illness for the season.  In light of the reoccurring sicknesses I have decided to try and give up stress and diet coke.  Not in that order.

Following are a few shots to give you an idea of our location for the last week.

The third is sunrise from the back lawn. Some find it hard to believe I got out of bed early enough…but I have proof!

Wouldn’t complain about being back in Melbourne town.  No really.  We have also just booked our flights to Byron Bay for August.  Looking forward to seeing B’s family.  Back to work tomorrow.

Wye River views

Inspired by the clouds yesterday, here are some shots I took in Wye River.  It was so serene.  The water looked silver blue and merged into the clouds lit by the setting sun.

We had a beautiful day the next day.  The water was aqua and clear and we could see the rockpools below from our veranda, mug in hand.

A really great break with my sis and her puppies.  I felt like a happy auntie seeing the puppies play on the beach for the first time.  They dug in the sand and chased the water.  Their small joys made me happy.
